Bhatt has been taking all the precautions during the shoot. This was the last thing he wanted since there’s just four days of work left before he wraps up the series. Sunny and Sonnalli also got the RT-PCR test done after their staff tested positive; however their report has come negative and both are heaving a sigh of relief.
When contacted, Bhatt said, “It is true that some of Sunny and Sonnali’s staff members have tested positive for COVID. They are in quarantine and I am not shooting for now. Yes, consequently we had to stop the shoot.”
A lot of film and web series’ shoots are getting derailed. It is really unfortunate that certain sets cannot be pulled down as that would involve a humongous cost to re-erect them, but then, keeping them intact is also going to be a costly affair as the shoots, which have stopped, are not likely to start very soon.
