An eyewitness reveals, “Salman had come at YRF Studios to shoot for ‘Pathan‘ with Shah Rukh Khan yesterday. YRF which is producing both ‘Pathan’ and ‘Tiger 3’ felt that they could do the puja for ‘Tiger 3’ if Katrina and Emraan were available. The calls were made and both Katrina and Emraan were at the YRF Studio on time.”
Buzz is, Katrina too met Shah Rukh after the puja.
‘Pathan’, which went on floors in November 2020, will be SRK’s first film after the 2018 release ‘Zero’ helmed by Aanand L Rai (who recently recovered from COVID) in which Salman also had a cameo. However, Salman’s presence in ‘Pathan’ is most likely going to be far more than it was in ‘Zero’ as he’s believed to be required on the shoot for about 8-10 days. Whether all his shots will be done in India or on the overseas schedule which is round the corner has however not yet been finalised.
Earlier this month, Salman had revealed his line-up of films, which apart from ‘Pathan’ and ‘Tiger (3)’ includes ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Farhad Samji.
Salman had a special appearance in the Shah Rukh-led blockbuster ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ too. Shah Rukh Khan too has made brief appearances in Salman Khan’s films, including ‘Tubelight’ and ‘Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega’. It will be interesting to see if SRK does a cameo in ‘Tiger 3’ and ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’. What is however mystifying is that both have not starred in full-fledged roles together after ‘Karan Arjun’ and ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’, the former was recently in the news for wrong reasons when a fire broke out in its screening at a theatre in Malegaon after a group of hoodlums started bursting crackers.
‘Pathan’, which is being directed by Siddharth Anand whose last film ‘War’ was a big hit, stars Deepika Padukone as the leading lady and John Abraham as the antagonist.
