Ranveer Singh beats Virat Kohli as most valued Indian celebrity in brand valuation report, Shah Rukh Khan is at the tenth spot: Deets inside – Times of India

A celebrity brand evaluation has been unveiled today and it sees top 25 celebrities from the field of entertainment and sports who are leading the game when it comes to brand endorsements. Interestingly, Ranveer Singh has topped this list this year and even beaten Virat Kohli who now stands at no 2 position.

Ranveer has emerged as India’s most valuable celebrity with a brand value of around USD 181.7 million. Virat is slightly behind him with his brand value of USD 176.9 million. Interestingly, while Ranveer Singh’s last two releases haven’t been huge hits, and ‘Cirkus’ proved to be a disappointment, that hasn’t affected his brand value or popularity and this is proof of that.
Ranveer and Virat are followed by Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone in the list of top 5 celebrities. What’s surprising is that Shah Rukh Khan is at the tenth position. Celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan and MS Dhoni also come in the top 10 celebs on this list.

‘Pushpa’ actor Allu Arjun is on no 20. The brand value report also stated, “The Media and Entertainment (“M&E”) sector in India continues to recover, reaching pre-pandemic levels. In 2022, the industry witnessed audiences returning to theaters and live events and spending more time out of the house. To maintain this increased activity, creators and producers need to continue driving innovative content. In 2021, there were over 100 M&A deals in the M&E Sector with most investments made in digital media and online gaming.”
