JKPSC KAS Mains 2022 admit card on Feb 10, change exam city by Feb 3; check details here – Times of India

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) will be conducting the J&K Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination, 2022 from February 20, 2023.
The Commission will release the admit cards for KAS CCE 2022 on February 10, 2023. Before issuing the admit cards, the JKPSC is giving an opportunity to the registered candidates who wish to change their examination centres for the Mains exams.
The facility to change the JKPSC Mains examination centre can be availed by the candidates by submitting a representation to the Controller of Examination at Commission‘s office at Bakshi Nagar Jammu/Solina Srinagar before 5 PM on February 3, 2023.
Candidates should note that after the expiry of said date, no such application will be entertained by the Commission. Also, the Controller of Examination reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.

The JKPSC KAS Main Examination pattern consists of the following:
Written Test: This is the main part of the examination, consisting of 8 papers in total. The papers are divided into 2 groups – Group A and Group B. The papers in Group A are objective type and consist of multiple-choice questions. Group B papers are descriptive and are based on essay writing, translation, and comprehension.
Personality Test: This is the final stage of the examination, which is conducted to evaluate the personal qualities of the candidate. The interview panel assesses the candidate’s communication skills, leadership abilities, mental and physical fitness, general awareness, and overall personality.
Viva Voce: This is an oral examination, where the candidate is asked questions related to the subjects covered in the written test. This examination is conducted to evaluate the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the subjects.
The marks distribution and duration of each paper may vary every year, but the overall examination pattern remains the same.
