According to the CBSE schedule released last month, the Board examination will commence on February 15, 2023. Considering the examination date, it is highly likely that the Board will release the admit cards this week. However, there has not been any official announcement made by the CBSE on this.
The CBSE Class 12th examination is scheduled to begin on February 15 and conclude on April 5, 2023, while the class 10th board exams will also begin on February 15 but will end earlier on March 21, 2023.
As per the CBSE Date sheet 2023, the exam for both classes 10th and 12th will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm depending upon the exam.
In the meantime, students can check the official website for sample papers, marking schemes and other exam-related information. Students are advised to download and practice solving the CBSE sample papers as much as they can. The sample papers can be downloaded from the official website – https://cbseacademic.nic.in/.
Once the admit card is released, the school authorities will be able to download the admit cards online on the official website through HOS/Principal login. After putting the stamp and signing by the principal, the admit cards will be handed over to the concerned students for appearing in the upcoming examination.
How do CBSE students get the admit cards from their respective schools?
The following steps are generally followed:
Step 1: Schools usually issue admit cards to students 10-15 days before the commencement of the examination.
Step 2: Students can collect the admit card from their respective schools during school hours.
Step 3: They need to carry a valid ID proof along with them to collect the admit card.
Step 4: The school administration may ask students to sign on the admit card to acknowledge receipt.
Step 5: Students should check the details mentioned on the admit card, such as name, roll number, and subject codes, and inform the school in case of any errors.
Step 6: It is important for students to keep their admit card safe and carry it on the day of the exams as it is an important document and without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
